Taking my mate Dave for a spirited little squirt down Mt Sugarloaf, Newcastle on my 2007 Triumph Sprint ST. Note that at 1:42 Dave has his own little squirt, no doubt adding a little moisture to the equation – he groans out a very rudimentary assessment of the experience, which, if you listen, causes me to have a right ol’ giggle. I believe this was Dave’s first ride on a motorcycle for the best part of a decade. Thanks to Grant(Urismo) for the Go Pro HD, which I slapped on the tank.

Question by bloominator: Which is the best sportbike for me?
I understand the “best bike” for me is only up to me to go to the dealer and sit/ride them myself. BUT I would like to cast some opinions from experienced riders.
I’m buying my first sport bike at the end of November as a beginner. I have signed up for the MSF course early November, but I still have a hell of a lot to learn. I want to learn on the bike that I will be keeping for a while that way I get used to that particular bike. I am very conscientious on the road as it is, always paying attention and looking for my outs. I will definitely be taking it very easy on my bike so that I can slowly learn it’s capabilities as well as my own. I will not be riding on heavily populated roads at first. I just figured that since this is the bike that I will definitely be getting as a “keeper” then I wanted to learn on it so that I know the bikes capabilities in and out.
Im interested/looking at the 2011 Kawasaki zx6r, 2011 Suzuki gsxr600, triumph Daytona 675, etc. (I want a 600cc range as my first bike)
Btw, I am no way in becoming a squid since I have purchased $ 1000+ worth of riding gear, that I will be wearing everyday, even if it means to go to star bucks for a cup of coffee.
And im 6’0 175 lbs. (Toned out)

Question by aaron f: Hyosung GT650R or Triumph Daytona 675?
I’m thinking of selling my Ducati 748. I’m considering either the Hyosung GT650R or the Triumph Daytona 675. I’m getting a new bike because I’m looking for something less costly to mantain and is a bit more comfortable. I knoiw there’s a big difference between the two as far as performance and cost. Anyone have experience with either of the two?

Why is the Hyosung even an option? Its not even in the same league as the Triumph or the duck. Its a typical chinese import with spotty quality control and hard to find parts.

A few weeks ago MCN got a world first ride on the Tiger 800 – the more road-orientated and novice-friendly version of the two new Tigers – and we were blown away. But now we’ve ridden the Tiger 800XC and it’s a different beast entirely – a proper adventure bike. Watch the video below for our footage and verdict from the launch.

MCN’s test of the new Triumph Tiger 800XC against BMW’s established performer F800GS has shown the Hinckley factory has yet another hit motorcycle in its expanding range. Our road trip to South West Wales involved 450 road miles and a day off-road on the same terrain used by the World rally Championships — an arduous test for any factory-sponsored rally car let alone mass-produced, road-biased motorcycles you or us can walk into a shop and buy.

Question by niceguy: Triumph street triple a good bike…?
So i asked about the Ducati monster and it seems like a solid bike, however I was also looking at the Street Triple 675, I heard its an awesome bike. I ride a Vulcan 800 right now and want something with go, I don’t want to downgrade as far as power. Since my bike is a cruiser I am looking to get a more standard or naked bike. I heard the Street triple almost has the speed of the Daytona? what do you guys think about the bike??? thanks

Question by : Yamaha vs Kawasaki vs Ducati vs Triumph vs Aprilia vs Honda vs Suzuki?
I want to start riding a bike and i have already ridden a ninja 250r for 2 months and im tired of it. I want something a little bigger and more powerful and that still looks sexy. I was into the daytona 675 but then it was too expensive so i thought the r6 was good but then someone told me they only count most at high speeds and arent comfortable. So can someone give me the pros and cons of all these bikes in the 600rr section please. Thanks in Advance

I was at the Suzuki/Kawasaki shop today, and saw the Ninja 500 on the showroom floor for a relatively low price. You may want to try looking at that one. Or just shop around at some of the motorcycle places in your town.

Question by supersport280: What Kind of Motorcycle should I buy; Sportbike Or Harley?
I am undecided in purchasing a motorcycle. I have some experience on the dirt, i owned a kawasaki KDX 220R 2 stroke enduro machine. I am looking for a roadbike, I like sportbikes and harleys. I just don’t know whats a good begginer motorcycle to start off with. I like the triumph Daytona 675′s and CBR 600RR’s also like the Harley Sporsters. Just don’t know whats a good choice for a good begginer bike.
