Savage Axis, but not in .22-250 Remington. I’d suggest .223 Remington, since it will be less expensive once the current panic buying subsides.

For coyote, .223 Remington will do the job just fine, and a Savage Axis is an excellent entry-level firearm. Unless you intend to get a single-shot, that’s about the only good option for you.

And incidentally, a single-shot might be a good idea, too. They aren’t particularly hard to reload, and they tend to be pretty accurate. An H&R or Rossi would be examples.

The ruger american a $ 400 is an AMAZIING gun for the price! I outshoot Browning x-bolts with it which are way higher in price. I love mine and have shot pigs and other things with it. Reliability is great, never jams or misfires. Accuracy gauranteed. I shoot a quarter size group at 100yds and can hit clay pigeons at 300yds. Ive shot at 500yds and its possible to hit bigger objects. I think they just came out with a 22-250 not sure but I have a .308

I wouldn’t mind a Savage Axis in 22-250 or 223,but I like the Ruger American even more, might push a little beyond the $ 350,but would be worth it. I like that the Ruger uses an adjustable trigger system,a bedding block system that looks well developed and it certainly looks and feels better than the Axis-I compare it more to the Tikka T-3,T/C Venture. You might spend more money and get a Weatherby Vanguard Series 2,pretty much best value running right now.

I strongly suggest a remington 770 in .243. Or get a .223. My pal uses his savage .223. I don’t really like the 22-250 so I recommend the .223 or the .243 if ur going out long range

You can’t really go wrong as long as you avoid the Remington 770. They are absolute crap and probably the worst rifle in current production that is available in the US.

AR-15 or AK-47 make great coyote hunting guns, just ask Holder the mexican gun runner.
